He was in prison when he wrote Finer Things. The song became his breakthrough single and amassed million of hits on YouTube and brought him into spotlight. Then, major labels began to show an interest. Pop Out feat. Lil Tjay was signed by the rapper after he signed a deal to distribute his songs with Columbia Records.
