Candice King Candice King, the American actress rose to fame for her role as Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries. Candice started out as a performer prior to becoming a star performer. In 2009, she released her debut album "It's Always the Innocent People' in United States. Twelve of the 14 tracks in the album were written by her. While working, she also worked on her acting career while guest starring in a couple of shows including How I Met Your Mother and Greek. While her acting career progressed slowly it wasn't until up until The Vampire Diaries on CW. In a matter of minutes, the show became her a household name. Candice King's brilliant performance and acting were lauded. The series ran for 171 episodes in eight seasons. The role she played on a regular basis was shown in The Originals, a spin-off in the year 2018, as well as Legacies which is a series for 2021.
