Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a child of a mixed-race family from South London in England. Her father and mother were both English. She was born in an estate in south London council estate, as a teenager, she 14, attended The Brit School. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received a BA degree in acting. She was a part of various stages during her high time at school, including King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began her acting career with the film Storm Damage. Since then, she's been making appearances in guest roles for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film role was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Following that, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie as well as six episodes of Flipside. In 2008, she landed the role as Bambi in The ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, appearing in series two and three. Madekwe was a star in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. She has performed on the screen in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written composed by David Watson.
Madekwe debuted in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series aired in the US on The CW for only two episodes, but it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport, a character on ABC's Revenge drama series was cast to play Ashley Davenport. Madekwe appeared in all episodes of the series' initial two seasons as the show's regular. But in May of 2013, it was announced that news broke that Madekwe will leave the show after her appearance as a guest on the first episode of the series' third season. She was Tituba in the program Salem between 2014 and. Madekwe and her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred as partners in Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by the large family. She was the daughter of Patty and Roy Leggat. Her parents Roy and Patty and her brothers Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. Ashley's brothers, who are all athletic, played in the summer months and play hockey in winters. Ashley could not walk but danced. As a result, when she turned 2 She discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance immediately after that. Until she graduated from High School, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical, and hip-hop. Ashley was awarded the best soloist at each of the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
